We are excited to announce that our original play, '74, has been accepted for the Voila! Europe Theatre Festival this November in London. As co-sponsors of this debut performance, we invite you to experience a thought-provoking political drama that uniquely bridges the histories and cultures of Portugal and Cyprus—two nations shaped by the transformative events of 1974.

'74 tells the intertwined stories of Maria, from Cyprus, and Pedro, from Portugal, as their lives converge in London during a year of upheaval. While Cyprus faces invasion and turmoil, Portugal celebrates newfound independence after the Carnation Revolution. Through the personal struggles of its protagonists, the play reflects on the complexities of change, the weight of unresolved conflicts, and the lasting impact of historical events.
Directed by Mikaela Livadiotis, this 60-minute two-hander is performed in English, Greek, and Portuguese, capturing the emotional and political nuances of two nations. As we mark the 50th anniversaries of the Turkish invasion of Cyprus and Portugal’s Carnation Revolution, '74 brings these pivotal events into a global conversation on war, liberation, and memory.
