THERE IS AN ISLAND III Cyprus House, London

As THERE IS AN ISLAND III continues to unfold, the Cultural Section of the Cyprus High Commission invites audiences to experience the exhibition through a series of artist-led curated tours, offering a more personal and immersive way to engage with the works and the artists behind them.

Bringing together 22 British Cypriot artists living and working in the United Kingdom, the exhibition explores themes of women, everyday life, and Cyprus as a bridge and crossroads of the Mediterranean. Across painting, photography, textiles, ceramics, sound and mixed media, the exhibition has evolved into a shared cultural space — one shaped by dialogue, memory and lived experience.

These tours offer visitors the opportunity to move beyond observation and into conversation. Led by participating artists, they provide insight into creative processes, personal narratives and the connections that have emerged within the exhibition itself.
