London based Dancer, Teacher, Choreographer
Ioanna Vazelaki
Ioanna is a Greek-Cypriot dance artist based in the UK, with a strong foundation in music. Born and raised in Athens, Greece, she began her artistic journey studying piano and music composition at the National Conservatoire of Athens, while also
training in ballet under the Royal Academy of Dance system. Her time at Arsakeio School of Psychiko nurtured further her artistic skills, through theatre, visual art, music and dance, inspiring her to pursue a career in performing arts.
Driven to expand her horizons, Ioanna moved to London to deepen her studies in contemporary dance, choreography, and dance academia at the University of Roehampton, earning a BA (Hons) in Dance Studies and an MA in Dance Philosophy and History. In parallel, she also completed her vocational ballet training and LRAD teaching course at Royal Academy of Dance HQ, gaining the title of
Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance, RAD Registered Teacher Status, and later, Silver Swans Licence.
Ioanna’s career spans performance, education, and the creative industries. She has worked with renowned artists and choreographers across film, R&D, stage, and site-specific projects. Career highlights include dancing in Steve McQueen's Blitz for Apple TV and contributing to English National Ballet’s Ideas Incubator Weekend. Passionate about teaching, Ioanna nurtures dancers of all ages and remains actively involved in creative projects and dance research, constantly pushing the boundaries of her craft. Her experience extends to esteemed institutions such as English National Ballet, The Place, University of Roehampton, and Royal Academy of Dance.

Glasgow based Dancer, Choreographer
Sotirios Panagoulias
Sotirios began training in dance at the Limassol Municipal Dance Centre. He continued his education at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, graduating with a BA degree in Modern Ballet. After the Scottish Ballet’s Cinderella tour, he worked as a dancer at Scottish Opera. Later, he danced in Czech Republic, collaborating with Ballet Prague Junior, Prague Chamber Ballet and South Bohemian Ballet. There, he had the opportunity to dance a wide range of repertoire from classical ballet to contemporary, opera and musical theatre. Sotirios has postgraduate studies in Cultural Policy and Development while continuing his education in Teaching in the Arts. Today, he is a Lecturer in Ballet at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and an Associate Tutor in the Department of Dance Science and Education at the University of Edinburgh. His research interests include gender in dance, traditional culture and material design in performance. He continues to build his choreographic career and research with new works in Cyprus and the UK. Previous works include: Fragmental (2019), Concerto 2.0 (2023), Shuffle and Cut (2023), The Gardener on a July Day (2023), The Burden (2023), Were you sleeping? (2025).
