We proudly congratulate Evie Demetriou and the entire production team of NEVER JUST I for their remarkable participation in this year’s Voila Theatre Festival in London—a vibrant platform that champions bold, international and innovative performance work.

Evie’s choreographic vision, together with the team’s artistic dedication, brings to London a piece that is deeply human, disarmingly honest, and profoundly resonant. NEVER JUST I explores the constant state of becoming—how our bodies, identities and desires shift as we move through life. With humour, vulnerability and striking physicality, the work invites the audience to witness a journey of transformation and joyful self-discovery.

This participation is a proud moment for Cyprus and a beautiful testament to the creative voices shaping our contemporary performing arts.

We extend our warmest congratulations to the entire production team of NEVER JUST I—including Maria Papacharalambous, Marios Ioannou, Konstantina Andreou, Evgenia Papandreou, and Stelios Kallis—for their outstanding participation in the Voila Theatre Festival in London. Their collective vision, creativity and dedication brought to the stage a deeply human and beautifully crafted work that celebrates identity, transformation and the fearless act of becoming. This team has proudly represented Cypriot contemporary performance on one of London’s most vibrant artistic platforms, and we are delighted to share their success with our community.

Visitors to our webpage can now enjoy exclusive sneak peeks from the performance and rehearsal process—glimpses into the artistry, energy and vision that brought this exceptional piece to life.

We extend our warmest congratulations to Evie and the team for representing Cypriot contemporary dance in one of London’s most dynamic festivals.

Many thanks to Giorgos Othonos for capturing these moments!
