Chan - The Way

pngfind_edited.png

This is not an endorsement of any religious tenet, principle, doctrine or dogma.

This is a construed projection of the philosophical idea of Nondualism, in other words, the overcoming of the sensory percept of apparent universal multiplicity and its reduction to one essential and undivided reality. As above so below.

Heterobiography

“The most wonderful little summary of Buddhism, in verse” – Alan Watts

Attributed to the Third Chán (Zen) Patriarch Jianzhi Sengcan (China – 6th Century). Transliterated into English by Daisetsu Teitaro Suzuki and Reginald Horace Blyth amongst others.

Amalgamated yet not restated, shortened, compounded, compiled, cherry-picked even, a hard and fast-pressed two-in-one, sourced from those who sourced from him who sourced—the source—alternatively and in quasi-modern vernacular, the sauce.

Narrated in synthesised speech by a machine driven by the two core tenets of binary arithmetic.

Concept, videography, editing and compositing arranged by the author, poet and performer, Michael-Angelos Englezos.
