Sergio Garau (Sardinia, 1982) since 2001 he’s been writing and performing poetry and spoken word, editing books (Poetry Collection: Maledizioni) and literary reviews (Atti Impuri), translating poems, leading workshops, hosting shows, joining the writers’ collective sparajurij, winning various international poetry slam,
video poetry and literature festival prizes (CROSSaward). He’s been published on paper, on record, on-line and, mostly, on stage in 21 countries across Europe, Latin America and Africa. He was director of the 2019 European Slam Championship and president of LIPS - Lega Italiana Poetry Slam.
