The Cultural Section of the Cyprus High Commission is delighted to invite audiences to the Cambridge Edition of the UK Cyprus Film Festival 2025, the final stop of our nationwide tour that brought Cypriot cinema and storytelling to communities across the UK.

This special closing event is presented in collaboration with Panorama: The Journal of Travel, Place & Nature and with the support of the Press and Information Office (PIO) of the Republic of Cyprus. We are honoured to welcome Aliki Stylianou, Head of the PIO, whose presence highlights the significance of this cultural initiative.

The Cambridge programme includes:

🎬 The Myths of Cyprus

A cinematic journey through Cyprus’ folklore and landscapes, produced by the PIO and directed by Mark Kassinos.

🎤 Q&A Session

An in-depth conversation with filmmaker Mark Kassinos and cultural researcher Dr Iosif Hadjikyriakos, exploring how myth, memory, and place are reimagined through film.

🎞 Embryo Larva Butterfly

A poetic, contemplative film by Kyros Papavassiliou, reflecting on time, love and transformation.

This final edition offers an excellent opportunity for audiences—especially those in the outskirts of London who may have missed earlier screenings—to experience these powerful works, engage in dialogue with the creators, and celebrate Cypriot cinema in an intimate setting.

✨ Admission is free.

🎟 Reservations: Please email events@panoramajournal.org

We look forward to welcoming you to Cambridge for an inspiring afternoon of film, conversation and cultural connection.
