About Anna Avraamidou:

Born in January 2008 in Cyprus to parents of the Greek Diaspora, Anna Avraamidou began her piano journey at the age of five. Her extraordinary talent has been recognized with distinctions and prizes in competitions across Cyprus, Greece, Germany, Mexico, and Russia. Anna has graced international stages, participated in renowned festivals, and collaborated with distinguished pianists and teachers.

Anna's Musical Journey:

Anna's musical journey has taken her from prestigious concert halls to international competitions, where she consistently rises to acclaim. Currently studying at the Purcell School for Young Musicians in London under the guidance of Ms. Tessa Nicholson, Anna's accolades include being a Scholar of the Leverhulme Trust of London for the years 2022-2023.


Recognition and Awards:

In November 2023, Anna triumphed at the 6th Franz Liszt International Piano Competition for Young Pianists in Weimar, Germany. Not only did she secure the 1st prize in Category II, but she also received the Grand Prix award, Liszt Prize, Classical Sonata Prize, EMCY Prize, and Junior Jury Prize. Her exceptional talent elevated the entire competition, earning accolades from the competition jury.
