The Cultural Counsellor of Cyprus High Commission in London, Dr Achilleas Hadjikyriacou, delivers a public lecture on the representations of masculinity and gender relations in the Greek Cinema of the 1950s and 1960s, examining the cultural, social and political dimensions of one of the most controversial films of this period.
