“Memory and Harmony”: An Evening Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Hellenic Institute at Royal Holloway, University of London. This special event will include a lecture on Reflections on the Study of Hellenism by the award-winning historian, author and broadcaster Bettany Hughes, followed by a recital by the celebrated Greek pianist Panayotis Gogos entitled Metamorphoses, including pieces by Schubert, Schumann and Chopin. The event is open to the public and free of charge, but attendees are invited to make a donation in support of the Hellenic Institute’s Scholarships and Bursaries scheme in support of its postgraduate students.
