An Unforgettable Evening with Sebastian Croft at Cyprus House

A truly beautiful and heartfelt atmosphere filled Cyprus House on December 3rd, as we welcomed actor and activist Sebastian Croft for an intimate Q&A event that quickly became one of the highlights of our 2025 cultural season.

Sebastian’s energy, authenticity, and generosity created a sense of warmth from the very beginning—made even more special by the presence of his family. Throughout the evening, we heard just how important family is to him, and how it continues to shape his dreams, values, and creative path.

Audience members were given a rare glimpse into Sebastian’s hopes for the future—not only on stage and on screen, but also in music, where he shared his artistic aspirations. One of the most moving moments of the night was hearing an acoustic live performance of his first released song, offered with sincerity and emotion.

Of course, there was no shortage of joy, laughter, and curiosity as we had the chance to “gossip” a little about Heartstopper, dive into behind-the-scenes insights from filming Game of Thrones, and explore what it truly means to grow up as a child actor working both in the UK and the United States.

This special event took place under the umbrella of our two key series:Creative Pathways — celebrating Cypriots who are forging inspiring careers in the UK; andProud Voices — marking World AIDS Day and highlighting Sebastian’s important activist role, including his work through Queer Was Always Here.

As every true family gathering should, the evening concluded with mulled wine and nibbles, a warm and fitting end that reflected the spirit with which Sebastian lives his life: openly, kindly, and wholeheartedly.
