The High Commission of the Republic of Cyprus in London is delighted to present the Prometheas String Quartet in a vibrant spring concert celebrating musical brilliance across cultures and centuries.
Τα “Χρώματα της Άνοιξης” – From Vivaldi to Piazzolla invites audiences on a journey from the luminous freshness of Antonio Vivaldi’s La Primavera to the passionate rhythms of Astor Piazzolla’s Primavera Porteña. The programme brings together works by Mozart, Brahms, Dvořák, Shostakovich, Elgar, Manuel de Falla and Leroy Anderson, alongside music by Cypriot composers Solon Michaelides and Andreas Papapetrou, proudly placing Cypriot creativity within an international classical repertoire.
This special evening is generously supported by the Xenophon Protopapas Foundation, whose commitment to promoting Cypriot artistic excellence abroad makes this event possible.
The concert will be followed by a wine reception.
