Cypriot Artists Gathering at Cyprus House

Celebrating connection, creativity, and collaboration

On Saturday, 8 November 2025, the Cyprus High Commission in London welcomed Cypriot artists from across disciplines for a vibrant morning of exchange and inspiration at Cyprus House. The gathering offered a warm space for creatives to connect, introduce themselves, and share not only their dreams and artistic journeys but also their challenges — a genuine conversation about what it means to create, collaborate, and grow within the Cypriot artistic community in the UK.

Participants had the chance to meet fellow artists, explore potential collaborations, and engage in open dialogue about the future of Cypriot art abroad. Many attendees also joined our Artists Database, a growing network that brings together Cypriot creatives and supports new cultural partnerships. Artists are encouraged to continue expanding this network by sharing the link and inviting others to join.

We were particularly delighted to have with us Meray Diner, director of the acclaimed short film Pink Moon, which was screened the evening before at Regent Street Cinema as part of EUNIC London’s In Short, Europe: Opening Doors — the seventh edition of this celebrated European short film festival.

With a wonderful turnout and meaningful discussions — including new project ideas with partner organisations and universities — the gathering reaffirmed our shared vision of strengthening the presence and impact of Cypriot creativity in the UK.
