The Cultural Section of the Cyprus High Commission in the UK is proud to present Voices of Aphrodite, a unique musical evening featuring Antigoni Buxton and Kara Marni, two London-based artists of Cypriot heritage.
Blending original songs with the timeless spirit of Cyprus, this concert offers an intimate yet dynamic experience, showcasing contemporary Cypriot voices that speak across borders. Joined by an ensemble of musicians including Mario Constantinou on the bouzouki, the performance explores themes of love, identity, and cultural memory—paying tribute to Aphrodite, the island’s most iconic symbol.
As part of our Proud Voices initiative, the event highlights the richness and diversity of Cypriot culture, placing Cypriot artists and stories at the heart of London’s multicultural landscape.
